<p>BioCare Thyroid Complex combines iodine, selenium and B vitamins with tyrosine, zinc and N-acetyl cysteine.</p><p>Iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function. Vitamin B2 and niacin (B3) contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Selenium also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to normal immune function. Zinc contributes to normal DNA synthesis and normal immune function. Vitamin C contributes to normal immune function and to normal collagen formation. Vitamin A contributes to normal vision and normal immune function. Vitamin B1 contributes to normal nervous system function.</p><p>Tyrosine is an amino acid used by the thyroid gland as a building block for thyroid hormone production.
