<p>Puro Omega Prenatal &amp; Lactation Omega-3 is formulated for the stages of pregnancy and breastfeeding, combining a 4:1 DHA:EPA ratio with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin E.</p><p>Each recommended daily dose (2 softgels) provides omega-3 fatty acids, including 810 mg DHA and 190 mg EPA. Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the eye and brain of the foetus and breastfed infants. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults of 250 mg DHA and EPA. EPA and DHA also contribute to the normal function of the heart.</p><p>Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is included. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.</p>
